wifilogger2, WeatherLink.com, extra temp/humidity sensors
« on: August 14, 2024, 06:49:37 AM »
I recently installed a wifilogger2, and upon setup for uploading data to WeatherLink.com, I have noticed my extra temp/humidity sensor data is not being uploaded.  I can see the data on the local wifilogger2 web page, and can also see the data with mqtt.

any thoughts as to why this data isn't being uploaded to WeatherLink.com?

Activate additional sensors in your weatherlink account. You need to select those that are to be displayed in the options. WFL sends the entire sensor package to WL.

How would I go about doing that?  I have looked over all of the WeatherLink.com site and cannot find anywhere where I can add extra sensors.

In the newsletter, in the upper right corner there is a menu that you click on.
For me it looks like in the picture.
Only now I don't remember if extra sensors are only enabled here or if I need to look deeper in the options.

I do not have extra sensors option in my view, only the first two options.

In the WFL options, in the DataExportSetup tab, also select weatherlink

Mode: WL PC

I’ve done that.  I can upload to WeatherLink.com.  Just cannot get the extra sensors to upload data.

so upon further inspection the local wifilogger2 site is not showing all of my extra temp/hum sensors.  not sure why, and I cannot find any support options on the wifilogger2 website.  Does anyone have a contact for wifiloggger 2 so I can reach out?

WiFiLogger is a member on these forums and has been very helpful in the past. They have not been active in a few weeks, but maybe if you send them a message they will get an e-mail notification and sign in. If you receive an answer, can you please update this thread?
