WS-5000 console SD card?

I installed a Sandisk 16 GB micro SD card into the console.  I have a couple of questions that searches have not found the answer.
1.   What format for the SD card?
2.   I got a green SD memory card icon on the console display.  Does that mean the card is working as it should?

From the FAQ: "microSD card (SDHC, max. 32GB, FAT32)."

Green means the card is recognized.
